---->YES! A cover and a contest win in the same week! I'm so happy I won second place in contest [link] for my entry of her character Bella Donna, "Sapphire's Dusk" [link] Since it was my first contest ever, and first ever piece of digital art for photoshop painting!

----> This is my drawing for our school literary magazine, Shades and Shadows, that got on the cover, thankfully, because I stayed up really late working on that thing: [link] These characters are Countess Pandora and Count Thorn, and yes they are just drawings with no story whatsoever behind them or why I drew them or whatever because I don't think on a picture long enough to actually think of that. (-->short attention span<--)

TUTORIAL LOG:

Secondly, since I am basically a beginner at digital art and I almost have no idea what I'm doing, I have decided to record all the techniques I randomly come up with in the form of tutorials so I can record my progress sort of. (I'm doing this more with a new WIP: Ivory Damasc (concept) so I hope to get more tutorials up in the future.)Here's the first: Drawing Opals (like I did on her sword) [link] of which I am very proud of making up my own technique somewhat.
